Polled Full Fleckvieh. The incredible depth and volume of Applecross Emma

16Ahas stood out since she was just a young calf. Emma represents the fourth

generation from one of our founding cow families; her great-grand-dam, Dora

Lee Evangaline, made the trek from Ontario to Alberta in 2008. Emma’s dam,

Ella, is a smaller framed cow who knows how to pump out big calves; both of

her calves have been near the top of our % of body weight rankings at wean-

ing. Her 2014 Bronson model was one of the select few to make the cut for

this years’ bullpen. Bred to Radium, Emma is sure to impress you on sale day.

to June 1 to APLX Samson 10Y P746489. In vet’s opinion safe to AI date.

Polled/Scurred Full Fleckvieh. Loaded with volume, Alicia is a lighter colored

Eclipse daughter that goes back to the JB Cdn Amethyst cow family. Her sire,

Eclipse, has had a tremendous impact on our herd, with his first daughters

developing into top end females, picked out by many of our visitors. While

double polled (and Igenity tested as heterozygous), please note thatAlicia has

developed small scurs since being registered as a calf. Bred to Sanmar Polled

Pharao, the odds are ever in your favor for a polled baby in early January.

to June 1 to APLX Escalade 9Y P746488. In vet’s opinion safe to AI date.

Full Fleckvieh.Applecross Glory is a very feminine Ikon daughter that also traces

back to one of our founding cow families. Her grand-dam, Dora Lee Gretchen,

was selected from Dora Lee as a heifer calf, and has consistently produced

stylish, dark red offspring. We have consistently used Ikon on heifers, and are

quite pleased with the daughters we have working in our herd. Bred to Eclipse,

Glory should have an intriguing calf early in January.
