Well Houston 1W has struck again with
another great bull. This guy has had two
half brothers in the sale each of the two
previous years. Django is as long of a bull
as I have seen in a while and to top it off
has the depth of body to go along with it. He
has a very modest birth weight of 91lbs and
was my heaviest at weaning. Look for him
to throw added length to his calves which
in turn adds weight in the fall.

This guy is a full brother to my high seller last year. I believe he will work well in the
heifer pen. His dam and sire both have high calving ease numbers and with just a
70lb birth weight you will be able to rest easy when the heifers start calving. He is a
very moderate framed bull that is built right. He will mature to a good size to be used
on heifers thus being able to utilize him for years.

I believe Darius to be another candidate for the heifer pen. He has a very nice head
and is smooth through the shoulders and middle, but doesn’t lack the hip and quarter.
He will calve easy but will still have enough punch for the calf to weigh up in the fall.

This guy is out of a fancy DFM Marcus cow that no matter what she throws, bull or
heifer, you know they will be a keeper. He is a very deep made bull whose tempera-
ment is second to none. He is the pen pet who follows you around for a good scratch.
Picture day can be stressful on everyone, bulls included! Duke was so laid back that
Tyler set his feet up with a stick, stepped back and took the picture. His temperament
is good but not to overshadow how complete of a bull he is. I think he could be used
on cows or larger heifers as well. He won’t be hard to find come sale day as he will
follow you around as you walk through the pen.

Look for this guy to sire a nice group of tan steers that will bring top dollar in the fall.
He is out of a very productive fullblood cow so that he never disappoints. He is very
stout made with a wide top and great hair coat. Also has a moderate birth weight
and great disposition.
