Early July last year, we went on a holiday (touring cattle farms!)
when we came back we couldn’t find this fella and assumed he
had died in the pasture. He actually got out into another pasture
(a ½ section of bush) with the commercial cows. When we
actually found him, his dam was dried up and he was weaned!!
So he has developed really well considering the fact of being
weaned on July 1st.

Full Fleckvieh. ‘Michaelangelo’ was one of our top bulls
in our pen in 2009. Those who came through the pen
were eager for us to place him up for sale, however
we needed a bull that year as well so decided to keep
him! He didn’t give us that many bull calves on his
first calf crop…mainly heifers that are now stand outs
in the heifer pen…he is definitely a female maker, so
if you are looking for a bull to give you some great
replacement heifers then seriously consider one of
these son’s on offer.

Full Fleckvieh. 22Y’s mom was purchased at the Autumn
Classic sale in Ontario from Gibbons Farms. Her bull last
year sold to some very good people, Laurence & Maureen
Leischner of Torrington, AB. I think over the past 20 years,
the Leischners’ have purchased over 10 bulls from us.
