Red Polled Purebred. 154Y is built very similar to his great sire
– he is round, sound and low to the ground! Keon has so much
muscle expression and carries it well down into a full quarter. He
is a wide topped, big volumed bull and again good performance
– gaining 4.19 lbs/day along with great EPD numbers. His calv-
ing ease number is +10.5 and a birth weight of -0.8 (both in the
breeds top 10%) and he started with just an 83 lb birth weight.
Keon is an obvious heifer bull candidate but you may also want
to breed as many cows to him as you can! This bull’s dam is one
of our very good Sam daughters – her offspring have always been easy to sell, a daughter sold through Agribition to Frehlich Farms in 2010, and another, CMS 614S, is an Icon sired cow who raised a
herd sire for Prairie Wind Farms in last year’s sale, and 614S has another good son selling as lot 17 this year.

Red Polled Purebred. I just stated that 154Y is very similar to his sire, well Thorton here is likely even more so! This fella is as round
and well muscled as they come – what a meat machine! His dam, 27M, is the type of cow we love to own – such high volume and
huge ribbed. She has raised herd bulls before – in 2008 Hand Hills Colony paid $5000 for a son that was our thickest calf that year.
Thorton is one of our top bulls this year – if you need to add thickness and perhaps bring down the frame size of your cowherd, then

Red Polled Purebred. A younger bull, Selanne is our second highest performer, he weighed 1210 lbs on Dec. 28th at just 9 months of age. His
adjusted yearling weight is 1634 lbs and he has an ADG of 5.04 lbs/ day with a 4.57 WPDA. He has all this performance and is a mid-framed,
very complete bull – he is as thick as any in the pen. His dam has put four bulls through this sale since we bought her with last year’s selling
to Tony from Lost Creek in BC for $5200. Selanne is a bit younger than some, but we believe he will be able to breed for you when needed.
